Location & Travel

Venue:

The workshop will be held in the midst of the Scottish highlands near Pitlochry.

The workshop venue is the Atholl Palace Hotel.

Participands are asked to book their accommodation with the hotel directly. Note that you will book accommodation with breakfast. Please remember to also book your conference dinner with the hotel directly  as we will have the conference dinner organised by the hotel.
 

Travel:

The nearest international airports are Glasgow and Edinburgh.

A tram leaves directly from the Edinburgh airport going into Edinburgh  town and stopping just beside Waverley trainstation.

The Airportlink Bus 100 brings you from Edinburgh Airport to Edinburgh Waveley train station.

Direct trains connect Edinburgh Waverley and Pitlochry, train portal

The hotel provides pick-up from Pitlochry train station to the workshop venue Atholl Palace Hotel.

Eating:

The breakfast is booked as part of the accommodation by each participant. Lunch and coffee during breaks will be provided by the conference and is covered by the conference fee. We suggest that you explore Pitlochry for dinner as it is a charming place with many dining possibilities.
